In the course of the offensive to liberate the city of Mariupol, at the request of the President of the Republic of Turkey R. Erdogan, on April 16 in the Primorsky region was conducted a special operation to release hostages held by Ukrainian Nazis in a Turkish mosque.
As a result of the actions of а group of Russian special forces, the mosque was liberated, 29 fighters were killed, including foreign mercenaries. The hostages, citizens of one of the CIS countries, were released and taken to safety.
Surrounded and completely blocked in MARIUPOL on the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant, the Ukrainian group was asked to voluntarily lay down their arms and surrender to save their lives.
However, the Kiev nationalist regime, according to radio interception, banned the capitulation talks, ordering the Azov Nazis to shoot on the spot anyone who wants to lay down arms among the Ukrainian military and foreign mercenaries.
In total, according to the surrendered Ukrainian servicemen, up to 400 foreign mercenaries are now surrounded on the territory of the Azovstal plant as part of the Ukrainian group.
Most of them are citizens of European countries, as well as Canada. Earlier we reported that the radio conversations between the extremists in Mariupol were conducted in six foreign languages. In case of further resistance, they will all be destroyed.
In total, with the launch of a special military operation, the Kiev nationalist regime gathered in Ukraine 6,824 foreign mercenaries from 63 countries.
The largest group came from Poland – 1717 people. About 1,500 mercenaries came from the United States, Canada, and Romania. From the United Kingdom and Georgia, each – up to 300 people.
193 people arrived from Turkish-controlled areas of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Most of the mercenaries are now distributed as part of Ukrainian groups in the cities of Kyiv, Kharkov, Odessa, Nikolaev and Mariupol. Their grouping is carried out by the “regional coordination headquarters” of the so-called “International Legion of Defense of Ukraine” in the town of BELAYA Tserkov.
As a result of hostilities, the number of mercenaries is constantly declining, and today is 4877 people. In the fighting, the Russian armed forces killed 1,035 foreign mercenaries. Another 912 mercenaries refused to take part in hostilities and fled the country.
!!! Let me remind you that foreign mercenaries do not have the status of “fighters” under international humanitarian law. They came to Ukraine to make money by killing Slavs. Therefore, the best that awaits them is criminal liability and long term prison sentences.
